New Look Restaurant & Cafe Now Open!
Exciting News! We have now completed the refurbishment and extension of the cafe. As well as our full service section offering delicious breakfasts and seasonal specials, we now offer a causal, bistro seating area, serving breakfast, light bites and a tempting range of artisan cakes and bakes We also have a deli counter offering hot and cold drinks and snacks to eat-in or takeaway. The Potting Shed Cafe
Set within a converted barn with views over a beautifully landscaped garden and open countryside, the award winning Potting Shed Café is one of the most picturesque venues to eat in Hertfordshire. On warm sunny days you can dine outside on our sheltered patio, or with the bi-fold doors folded back, enjoy the summer breeze gently blowing in.
Our new bistro seating area offers breakfast, a light bites lunch menu, cakes and pastries. This spacious area is well suited for visitors who require extra space for wheel chairs, buggies and dogs.
Well behaved dogs are welcome, so you can relax and enjoy a well-earned drink and slice of cake after a walk around Heartwood Forest situated less than a mile down the road.
We offer a range of popular breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes, as well as seasonal specials made with our own grown and locally sourced ingredients. All dishes are made fresh to order, with a great choice for Vegans, Vegetarians and Gluten-free diners.

Last orders for breakfast is 11.45am. Brunch & lunch orders are taken until 3pm. Last orders for drinks are taken at 4pm and we close at 4.30pm. Pizzas are served in the bistro cafe area until 3:45pm.
